Looking ahead

The next few months are going to be incredibly busy, but the good news is that maybe I'll get to meet a few of you. In September, I'll be speaking at the following events:
Sept. 1 - Mid-America Homesteading Conference, Joliet, IL
Sept. 7 - Growing Power Conference, Milwaukee, WI
Sept. 15 - Heritage Harvest Festival, at Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson, in Virginia
Sept. 22 and 23 - Mother Earth News Fair, Seven Springs, PA
I'll also be doing a book signing at Miss Effie's Country Flowers in Iowa on Sunday, Sept. 9, during their second annual farm crawl. And I'll be teaching a class on producing your own meat (by growing livestock) at Heartland Community College in Normal, IL, on Sept. 10.

And then the real excitement begins! Around October 1, EcoThrifty will hit bookstores! I'm not yet sure where I'll be traveling for the book tour, but if you want an autographed copy, you can buy one directly from me through this website. I'll post a link within the next week or so. The book is also available for pre-order already through Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
